The Astillero del Guayas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 16 minutes into the game, Efrain Meruelo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Astillero del Guayas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ACe Aimaro Juniors the free kick. After a rather tough play, Astillero del Guayas's Efrain Meruelo got a free kick in the 16th minute. Omar Gayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wlodzimierz Olchawa having to interfere. Astillero del Guayas's Videl Amaya managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Radomil Wietrzychowski in the 26 minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Omar Gayo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wlodzimierz Olchawa was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Wlodzimierz Olchawa made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Omar Gayo sent off a good shot on target. Wlodzimierz Olchawa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Gayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 68th minute, Xantalen Sella ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wlodzimierz Olchawa was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Victoriano Fortuño's late challenge caught a ACe Aimaro Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victoriano Fortuño helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ACe Aimaro Juniors booed when Astillero del Guayas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Videl Amaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Omar Gayo notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of ACe Aimaro Juniors's Wlodzimierz Olchawa. Wlodzimierz Olchawa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wlodzimierz Olchawa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Fortuño in the 95th minute of play. Astillero del Guayas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 98th minute, when Tomasz Kajdasz scored to the left of an out of position Corozo Nevares, making the score, 5-1.
