The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Attila Kossuth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wincent Majtyka in the 4th minute of the match. In the 9th match minute, Nagyváradi AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurél Hellinger to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute of the match, Dávid Fekete got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wincent Zbydniowski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Nagyváradi AC's Attila Kossuth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wlodzimierz Bartochowski in the 13th minute of play. Wincent Majtyka scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Attila Kossuth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 19 minutes, Krisztián Magyar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nagyváradi AC and the Husaria Tarnów players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dávid Feketes short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Wincent Zbydniowski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Wincent Zbydniowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mátyás Szepesvári in the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute of the match Nagyváradi AC got a corner. Husaria Tarnów's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Krisztián Magyar ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Nagyváradi AC's corner Krisztián Magyar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wincent Zbydniowski quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wincent Majtyka in the 30th minute of play forced Nagyváradi AC's goalkeeper Attila Kossuth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wincent Zbydniowski was a little too slow when Dávid Fekete got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-1. Wincent Zbydniowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dávid Fekete in the 41st minute. Husaria Tarnów's Wincent Zbydniowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Husaria Tarnów from getting a goal against them. Husaria Tarnów's Wincent Zbydniowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dávid Fekete in the 44th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After having played for 51 minutes, Dávid Fekete managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nagyváradi AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dávid Fekete was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renátó Marton in the 54th minute of play forced Husaria Tarnów's goalkeeper Wincent Zbydniowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Husaria Tarnów's Wincent Majtyka got a free kick in the 57th minute. Nagyváradi AC's Mátyás Szepesvári got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Husaria Tarnów booed when Nagyváradi AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krisztián Magyar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wincent Zbydniowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renátó Marton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gábor Kásás's late challenge caught a Husaria Tarnów's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gábor Kásás helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th minute, Gábor Kásás hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gergely Varsányi kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Dávid Fekete got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute, one of Nagyváradi AC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nagyváradi AC. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
