After 26 minutes of play Chorroarín's Marcos Illan was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Octavio Oinatz made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Chorroarín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Inguma to maneuver through the defense. Octavio Oinatz's late challenge caught a Coritiba Foot Ball Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Octavio Oinatz helped the player get up and apologised. Chorroarín's Oscar Inguma was substituted for Abel Jayvier. Gabriel Salvidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erivaldo Paraibano in the 82nd minute of the match. Edu Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Coritiba Foot Ball Club's zone, Honorato Perfecto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kléber Schmidt came out of the goal and Honorato Perfecto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
