The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marek Hewitt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Erasto in the 5th minute of play. Marek Hewitt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leopoldo Ostadar went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Astreix&ObelixSoccer defense, Eusebio Thomas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marek Hewitt. The Astreix&ObelixSoccer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marek Hewitt should have stopped the shot. 28 minutes into the game, Vicente Rojelio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Project B's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Astreix&ObelixSoccer the free kick. In the 28th minute, Vicente Rojelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dean Clay's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Octavio Abeijon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alfonso Erasto charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfonso Erasto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alfonso Erasto kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Octavio Abeijon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stu Bowler in the 34th minute of the match. Marek Hewitt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Ostadar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luke Jones received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Octavio Abeijon came out and tried to block the shot, but Luke Jones slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 41st minute. In the 46th match minute, Project B was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Ostadar to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leopoldo Ostadar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marek Hewitt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Urtzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 51st minute, Dean Clay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Project B getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Alfonso Erasto hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Phil Dove got a free kick in the 54th minute. After 58 played minutes Project B got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Ostadar. Octavio Abeijon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Cartwright in the 59th minute of the match. Octavio Abeijon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Cartwright, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Marek Hewitt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Ostadar in the 70th minute of play. Phil Dove hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Martin Theobald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 89 minutes into the match, Dean Clay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Octavio Abeijon. Project B's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dean Clay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Astreix&ObelixSoccer's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
