The referee felt a red card was in order, 23 minutes into the game, when Ådne Blomvik put in a rough tackle. A collision led to The Nerd Herd getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Ådne Blomvik hit a great ball. Arnstein Øvereng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duda Guedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Carlos Alberto Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnstein Øvereng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adilson Palmeira in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnstein Øvereng prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, The Nerd Herd's Christian Hinna got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Ola Nysted struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Rodriguinho Zonta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Nerd Herd. Ola Nysted charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ola Nysted the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th minute, Ola Nysted hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodriguinho Zonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ola Nysted, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The ball had pretty good speed, but Arnstein Øvereng firmly grabbed it by the left post. After having played for 80 minutes, Tomás Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MALZBIER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Oliveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. MALZBIER's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
