The supporters of Astreix&ObelixSoccer booed when Habsburgo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Bixintxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th match minute, Astreix&ObelixSoccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodd Sharpe to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Habsburgo's Baltasar Mouricio got a free kick in the 16th minute. When Wally Talbot came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Astreix&ObelixSoccer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wally Talbot couldn't finish the play. Lucio Christobal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phil Dove in the 27th minute of the match. Patrick Buckler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Serafino Estevez in the 33rd minute. Eddy Watson's late challenge caught a Habsburgo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eddy Watson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Astreix&ObelixSoccer getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Eddy Watson hit a great ball. Lucio Christobal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eddy Watson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Serafino Estevez made a kick off. If Wally Talbot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Habsburgo's Baltasar Mouricio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patrick Buckler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Baltasar Mouricio came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Habsburgo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltasar Mouricio couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Habsburgo's Cornelio Amaya got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 77th minute, Wally Talbot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 81 minutes, Serafino Estevez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Habsburgo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafino Estevez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute, Lucio Bixintxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the game, Eddy Watson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Lucio Christobal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match was over Astreix&ObelixSoccer could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Habsburgo throughout the match.
