Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Leopoldo Ostadar started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Vicente Rojelio fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Project B's protests and gave Vicente Rojelio a yellow card for diving instead. MALZBIER's Reginaldo Catarinense was substituted for Gilvan Vergílio. Vicente Rojelio hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Project B's Octavio Abeijon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reginaldo Catarinense in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, MALZBIER's Duda Guedes got a free kick in the 18th minute. Rodriguinho Zonta made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Leopoldo Ostadar sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alberto Figueiredo in the 22nd minute of play forced Project B's goalkeeper Octavio Abeijon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reginaldo Catarinense took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octavio Abeijon. Octavio Abeijon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to MALZBIER getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Duda Guedes hit a great ball. Octavio Abeijon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reginaldo Catarinense in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind MALZBIER's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Zonta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Reginaldo Catarinense scored 0-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Octavio Abeijon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 40th minute, Carlos Alberto Figueiredo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Octavio Abeijon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Octavio Abeijon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reginaldo Catarinense, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Alberto Figueiredo to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, MALZBIER's Tomás Oliveira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Octavio Abeijon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. A hard shot 57 in the game by Tomás Oliveira from a close distance when the talented Octavio Abeijon managed to make a qualified save. Project B's players were relieved. Tomás Oliveira had several of the Project B's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 57 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Octavio Abeijon as he didn't even see the shot coming. Octavio Abeijon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reginaldo Catarinense in the 66th minute of play. Reginaldo Catarinense received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Octavio Abeijon came out and tried to block the shot, but Reginaldo Catarinense slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 68th minute. Tomás Oliveira took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octavio Abeijon. Octavio Abeijon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Octavio Abeijon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reginaldo Catarinense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomás Oliveira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Octavio Abeijon made a huge save. 86 minutes into the match, Carlos Alberto Figueiredo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Octavio Abeijon, 0-8. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Alberto Figueiredo got free with Octavio Abeijon in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rodriguinho Zonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Ostadar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over MALZBIER could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Project B throughout the match.
