The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 4 minutes into the game, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Boniface Fulton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Esbjörn Hellgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When Wetterqvist Boys BK's Max Skräddare in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 19th match minute, Sport Lisboa e Benfica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Monte Ledbetter to maneuver through the defense. After 21 minutes of play, Wetterqvist Boys BK's Max Skräddare made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Irving Dennis was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Baptiste Beck got free with Esbjörn Hellgren in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Lars Hedlund fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wetterqvist Boys BK's protests and gave Lars Hedlund a yellow card for diving instead. Lars Hedlund kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Eusebio Briggs got a free kick in the 29th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Max Skräddare in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Irving Dennis saved Sport Lisboa e Benfica from getting behind. In the 36th minute, Eusebio Briggs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ragnar Nord had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 40th minute, Max Skräddare ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Irving Dennis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 44th minute, Max Skräddare left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wetterqvist Boys BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3.

In the 58th minute Antonia Webb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esbjörn Hellgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Wetterqvist Boys BK's George Gullesson got a free kick in the 60th minute. When Georges Christopher came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Sport Lisboa e Benfica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Georges Christopher couldn't finish the play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 65 minutes into the game, when Carlton Andrade put in a rough tackle. When the match had been going on for 66 minutes, Wetterqvist Boys BK's Andréas Löv got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Irving Dennis. 70 minutes into the game, Max Skräddare was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wetterqvist Boys BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sport Lisboa e Benfica the free kick. The supporters of Sport Lisboa e Benfica booed when Wetterqvist Boys BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Max Skräddare didn't get a good kick on the ball. Max Skräddare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Irving Dennis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wetterqvist Boys BK's Esbjörn Hellgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baptiste Beck in the 75th minute of play. If Max Skräddare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esbjörn Hellgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georges Christopher in the 83rd minute of play. Wetterqvist Boys BK's Esbjörn Hellgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boniface Fulton in the 85th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Max Skräddare cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Irving Dennis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dennis Kalfhage fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Irving Dennis having to interfere. Ragnar Nord sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Wetterqvist Boys BK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
