After 22 played minutes 沛水龙城 got a freekick which was hit by 柯川凡. In the 25th match minute, 沛水龙城 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 巩延钢 to maneuver through the defense. During the 26th minute of the match 柯川凡 completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave 柯川凡 a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 26th minute of the game. One of 沛水龙城:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SV Wissenkerke:s goal. Marco Hofland hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hans Oude Kamphuis during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 44 played minutes SV Wissenkerke got a freekick which was hit by Hans Oude Kamphuis. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 庄朋松 to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by 庄朋松 in the 51st minute of play forced SV Wissenkerke's goalkeeper Kenneth van der Leegte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 梅泉城 scored 3-2 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kenneth van der Leegte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st minute, 巩延钢 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 何松潮 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Oude Kamphuis in the 86th minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, 庄朋松 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Kenneth van der Leegte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 何松潮 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Oude Kamphuis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Hans Oude Kamphuis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 何松潮 was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. 沛水龙城's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
