The crowd rose to their feet as Berni y Benja FC's Maximo Izel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gilmar Paraíba. That made the score 3-1 after 30 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Txema in the 36th minute of play forced Inter de São Paulo's goalkeeper Gilmar Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
