Wasyl Gacek hit a great ball. The supporters of FC ICEWIND DALE booed when Berni y Benja FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Benvide didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wasyl Gacek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Godofredo Txema didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Maximo Izel notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FC ICEWIND DALE's Boguslaw Mochowak. Boguslaw Mochowak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lázaro Obano during the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Giuseppe Meazza put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Celestino Medina. During the 48th minute of the match Godofredo Txema completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Godofredo Txema a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. FC ICEWIND DALE made a substitution. Radomir Kochowski replaced Arkadiusz Jucha. In the 50th match minute, Berni y Benja FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godofredo Txema to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

FC ICEWIND DALE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giuseppe Meazza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boguslaw Mochowak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robustiano Matteo, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Tanek Kendra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Celestino Medina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jerzy Jucha's late challenge caught a Berni y Benja FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jerzy Jucha helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th match minute, FC ICEWIND DALE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerzy Jucha to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 87 minutes, Giuseppe Meazza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tanek Kendra couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 98th minute by Giuseppe Meazza got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
