Palmares Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to SiTomanBoy´s getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Eladio Huilipan hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Vicente Ferraz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SiTomanBoy´s's Darío Peredo didn't even have to move. Jo Calleri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Darío Peredo made a huge save. Darío Peredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinei Loureiro in the 28th minute of the match. Vicente Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vicente Ferraz got free with Darío Peredo in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 38 played minutes SiTomanBoy´s got a freekick which was hit by Juan Miguel Bilbao. Darío Peredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei Loureiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mónico Sances stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lucián Santiago's late challenge caught a Palmares Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucián Santiago helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SiTomanBoy´s's Lucián Santiago got a free kick in the 58th minute. Darío Peredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jo Calleri in the 63rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jo Calleri in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Darío Peredo saved SiTomanBoy´s from getting behind. The supporters of SiTomanBoy´s booed when Palmares Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinei Loureiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Palmares Futebol Clube made a substitution. Thiago Lara replaced Fellipe Negri. After a rather tough play, Palmares Futebol Clube's Claudinei Loureiro got a free kick in the 80th minute. Lucián Santiago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Francisco Alagoano made a huge save. SiTomanBoy´s's Darío Peredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jo Calleri in the 82nd minute of play. The supporters of SiTomanBoy´s booed when Palmares Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jo Calleri didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 87 minutes, Gerson Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmares Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerson Salles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
