Francisco Alagoano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lázaro Hats's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. If Vicente Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 10 played minutes Palmares Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Fellipe Negri. The nice shot from Jo Calleri in the 12thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Paulo Marz had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. The audience was convinced that Jo Calleri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Marz was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jo Calleri in the 16th minute of play forced NECKER49's goalkeeper Paulo Marz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Palmares Futebol Clube's Jo Calleri dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Santos in the 23rd minute of play forced Palmares Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Francisco Alagoano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Felix Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. NECKER49's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Alagoano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vicente Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jo Calleri in the 42nd minute of play forced NECKER49's goalkeeper Paulo Marz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rubens Recife kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

NECKER49's Paulo Marz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jo Calleri in the 53rd minute of play. Jo Calleri scored 3-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Marz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paulo Marz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jo Calleri in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st match minute, NECKER49 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Austin to maneuver through the defense. Palmares Futebol Clube's Thiago Lara was substituted for Fellipe Negri. Gonzalo Austin hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. If Vicente Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Jo Calleri sped through NECKER49's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Paulo Marz. Jo Calleri scored 5-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Marz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Claudinei Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Paulo Marz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Palmares Futebol Clube's Gerson Salles got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vicente Ferraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Marz having to interfere. Paulo Marz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jo Calleri, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Paulo Marz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jo Calleri in the 94th minute of the match. Palmares Futebol Clube walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
