Maximino Ekain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Dragicevic having to interfere. Benedicto Orkatz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Inter de Chillán's Iván Imaz shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. A collision led to Inter de Chillán getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Bairon Bernales hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iván Imaz in the 20th minute of play forced Cuervos Galácticos's goalkeeper Benedicto Orkatz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Paulo Deunoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benedicto Orkatz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iván Imaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After some careless play in the Cuervos Galácticos defense, Iván Imaz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benedicto Orkatz. The Cuervos Galácticos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benedicto Orkatz should have stopped the shot. The Inter de Chillán fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Inter de Chillán's Iván Imaz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fidel Bizen during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cuervos Galácticos getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Fidel Bizen hit a great ball. Amado Mas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inter de Chillán's Basilio Dragicevic proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Inter de Chillán from getting a goal against them. 37 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's goalkeeper Basilio Dragicevic had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santos Lauren. If Bairon Bernales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Cuervos Galácticos's Basilio Dragicevic threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Santos Lauren, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

The wind increased when Iván Imaz made the kick off in the second half. Bairon Bernales hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Amado Mas kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Inter de Chillán's goalkeeper Basilio Dragicevic, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Santos Lauren took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Basilio Dragicevic. Basilio Dragicevic dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 75 minutes into the match, Cuervos Galácticos's goal looked a bit too open when Iván Imaz came free, but Benedicto Orkatz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fidel Bizen was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Fidel Bizen kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Iván Imaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Benedicto Orkatz made a huge save. Maximino Ekain's late challenge caught a Inter de Chillán's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximino Ekain helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th match minute, Cuervos Galácticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Ekain to maneuver through the defense. Iván Imaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Inter de Chillán had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
