Severino Guerra started the match with the kick off. If Severino Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 5 minutes into the game, Severino Guerra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Minotauro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter de Chillán the free kick. Hermínio das Neves hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Ian Gillan took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Rafael Paraíba to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Minotauro's Felippe Donatello got a free kick in the 21st minute. A collision led to Inter de Chillán getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Ian Gillan hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Belmiro Traverso in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Paraíba saved Minotauro from getting behind. Hermínio das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafael Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belmiro Traverso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Paraíba made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Eriberto Rast sent off a good shot on target. After 40 played minutes Inter de Chillán got a freekick which was hit by Belmiro Traverso. 42 minutes into the game, Jean Eger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Minotauro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter de Chillán the free kick. Jean Eger hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Rafael Paraíba came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Inter de Chillán's Ian Gillan. But to his dismay, Ian Gillan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 54th minute, Eriberto Rast left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter de Chillán fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. If Severino Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute Eriberto Rast shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Eriberto Rast quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Bairon Bernales recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Minotauro's Rafael Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Gillan in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th minute Ian Gillan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Minotauro's Rafael Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Gillan in the 80th minute of play. With a little luck, Inter de Chillán's Odón Mackenzie got control of the ball when Jean Eger tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 83rd minute Bairon Bernales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Ian Gillan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Rafael Paraíba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that Inter de Chillán were the better team. Inter de Chillán's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
