Luís Eduardo Monteiro hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Caetano Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jo Vogels in the 8th minute of the match. Minotauro were furious when Erik Bertassi was red carded, 12 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Erik Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. F.C. Kilisspor's Ernst Beetens couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 14th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Minotauro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jo Vogels in the 15th minute of play forced Minotauro's goalkeeper Caetano Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Lionel Stoorms had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Diogo Senna's late challenge caught a F.C. Kilisspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diogo Senna helped the player get up and apologised. F.C. Kilisspor's Serge Mathy was substituted for Lionel Stoorms. In the 18th minute, Diogo Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermínio das Neves scored 1-0 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gery De Martelaere, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gery De Martelaere made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Jean Eger sent off a good shot on target. 29 minutes into the game, Jean Eger recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gery De Martelaere. Jean Eger showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Caetano Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glenn Demeyer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute, Serge Mathy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C. Kilisspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jean Eger to make the kick off. Hermínio das Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Gery De Martelaere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diogo Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Hermínio das Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. F.C. Kilisspor's Gery De Martelaere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Eduardo Monteiro in the 68th minute of play. Gery De Martelaere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Paraíba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the game, F.C. Kilisspor's Jo Vogels nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Caetano Veiga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 79 minutes into the match, Glenn Demeyer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Caetano Veiga, 2-3. In the 82nd minute Jean Eger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gery De Martelaere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 played minutes F.C. Kilisspor got a freekick which was hit by Serge Mathy. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Kilisspor's zone, Jean Eger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gery De Martelaere came out of the goal and Jean Eger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jo Vogels struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Caetano Veiga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. Kilisspor. F.C. Kilisspor were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Minotauro's much stronger midfield.
