The audience thought a goal was coming when Jean Eger got free with Odón Mackenzie in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 14th minute, Minotauro's Severino Guerra ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Odón Mackenzie. Odón Mackenzie yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Jean Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, Eriberto Rast made a precise shot to the right of Caetano Veiga. Minotauro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When Jean Eger fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Minotauro's protests and gave Jean Eger a yellow card for diving instead. Jean Eger kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Ian Gillan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Caetano Veiga. Minotauro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ian Gillan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Odón Mackenzie made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Jean Eger sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Inter de Chillán's Bairon Bernales got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Severino Guerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Odón Mackenzie having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Odón Mackenzie successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 37 minutes, Jean Eger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minotauro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean Eger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute Ian Gillan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Odón Mackenzie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean Eger in the 40th minute. Inter de Chillán's Clemencín Serpa pulled a muscle in his leg after 44 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Inter de Chillán's Casimír L´Hotelier was substituted for Clemencín Serpa. Jean Eger kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Minotauro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Paraíba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Guerra came free, but Odón Mackenzie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Bairon Bernales was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inter de Chillán's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Minotauro the free kick. A collision led to Inter de Chillán getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Bairon Bernales hit a great ball. Guto Abraão took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Odón Mackenzie. Inter de Chillán's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Baraquiel Macchiavello hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute Eriberto Rast shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 74 in the game by Eriberto Rast from a close distance when the talented Caetano Veiga managed to make a qualified save. Minotauro's players were relieved. A collision led to Minotauro getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Vladimir Veiga hit a great ball. Ian Gillan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Minotauro's Caetano Veiga got control of the ball when Ian Gillan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rafael Paraíba charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafael Paraíba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rafael Paraíba kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Minotauro succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Inter de Chillán had controlled the match.
