The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cevahir Tanırer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilco Owusu Abeyie in the 5th minute of the match. After 11 minutes of play, Seagulls's Wilco Owusu Abeyie made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cevahir Tanırer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cevahir Tanırer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Popken in the 15th minute of play. After 15 minutes, Ayberk Yükselir mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ANADOLU LOJİSTİK and the Seagulls players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, ANADOLU LOJİSTİK's Ayberk Yükselir got a free kick in the 15th minute. If Wilco Owusu Abeyie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the game, Roger Popken cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Cevahir Tanırer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carsten Klaasens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cevahir Tanırer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Popken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when Zeynel Gündüz came free, but Jan-Joost Smeekes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute of the match, Zeynel Gündüz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jan-Joost Smeekes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Uluç Asya was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 47th minute. ANADOLU LOJİSTİK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilco Owusu Abeyie to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Kenan Dal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the match, ANADOLU LOJİSTİK's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Schröer came free, but Cevahir Tanırer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57 minutes of play, Seagulls's Wilco Owusu Abeyie made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 64th minute, one of ANADOLU LOJİSTİK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ANADOLU LOJİSTİK. The referee gave Seagulls a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Carsten Klaasens, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ANADOLU LOJİSTİK's Cevahir Tanırer. 0-4. After 72 played minutes ANADOLU LOJİSTİK got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Emrah Yerel. Cevahir Tanırer was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Carsten Klaasens. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zeynel Gündüz during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Carsten Klaasens kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cevahir Tanırer. That made the score 0-6 in the 81 minute of play. In the 87th minute, Berkant Ergüç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute, Carsten Klaasens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 92 minutes of play ANADOLU LOJİSTİK's Ayberk Yükselir was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to ANADOLU LOJİSTİK getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Ayberk Yükselir hit a great ball. Cevahir Tanırer had great luck who in the 94thth minute grab hold of the ball when Wilco Owusu Abeyie from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Zeynel Gündüz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Jan-Joost Smeekes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
