Dinu Bungescu hit a great ball. After 20 played minutes Manchester United FC got a freekick which was hit by Valio Sammalkangas. Manchester United FC's Saul Väänänen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Manchester United FC from getting a goal against them. Florin Suşu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taavetti Valkealahti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Reima Ruuttu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of YR☆ Rossoneri™'s Florin Suşu. Florin Suşu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Taavetti Valkealahti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Florin Suşu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reima Ruuttu scored 0-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Florin Suşu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Reima Ruuttu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florin Suşu having to interfere. In the 38th match minute, Manchester United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valio Sammalkangas to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Valio Sammalkangas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manchester United FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marian Drogoreanu was the one to do the kick off. With a left leg Florin Suşu saved YR☆ Rossoneri™ from getting behind. 71 minutes into the match, Manchester United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Drogoreanu came free, but Saul Väänänen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Taavetti Valkealahti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Florin Suşu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reima Ruuttu got free with Florin Suşu in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
