With a little luck, Tiger's Hartmut Weidenhammer got control of the ball when Aílton Sousa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paulinho Fonseca received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hartmut Weidenhammer came out and tried to block the shot, but Paulinho Fonseca slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. Marquinhos Paes's late challenge caught a Tiger's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marquinhos Paes helped the player get up and apologised. Luiz Fernando Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raik Sauer in the 9th minute of the match. Paulinho Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Hartmut Weidenhammer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulko Schwaderer in the 12th minute of play forced Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16thth minute of the game Fulko Schwaderer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jovens Democratas MZC's Luiz Fernando Silva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Tiger's Roberto Reeck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Fernando Silva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Aílton Sousa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Hartmut Weidenhammer made a huge save. Raik Sauer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Luiz Fernando Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulinho Fonseca to make the kick off. Fulko Schwaderer struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Luiz Fernando Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tiger. Luiz Fernando Silva was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Jörg Hebenthal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jörg Hebenthal really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. 63 minutes into the game, Jovens Democratas MZC's Paulinho Fonseca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jovens Democratas MZC's Doni Berger was substituted for Marquinhos Paes. Jovens Democratas MZC's Válbson Pereira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hartmut Weidenhammer in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Marcinho Sampaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Jovens Democratas MZC's zone, Roberto Reeck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fernando Silva came out of the goal and Roberto Reeck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Jovens Democratas MZC's Marcinho Sampaio got a free kick in the 96th minute.
