Pepino’s's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Agüero came free, but Domingo Tolhauzsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domingo Tolhauzsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Omero in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Sergio Agüero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Domingo Tolhauzsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Fabio Omero scored 0-3 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Domingo Tolhauzsen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillermo Iago in the 21st minute of play forced C.D. Pepino’s's goalkeeper Domingo Tolhauzsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 23rd minute by Reces Mondaca got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Domingo Tolhauzsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Iago, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The supporters of La Scaloneta booed when C.D. Pepino’s was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinaldo Recalde didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Nahuel Briones hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute Sergio Agüero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Tolhauzsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.D. Pepino’s players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. La Scaloneta were winning 0-6.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reces Mondaca was the one to do the kick off. Guillermo Iago received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Domingo Tolhauzsen came out and tried to block the shot, but Guillermo Iago slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 52nd minute. After 57 minutes of play, La Scaloneta's Guillermo Iago made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Domingo Tolhauzsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to C.D. Pepino’s getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Alexandro Cabedo hit a great ball. Pepino’s's Mercurio Isasiguia got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillermo Iago in the 85th minute of play forced C.D. Pepino’s's goalkeeper Domingo Tolhauzsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domingo Tolhauzsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Omero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's goal looked a bit too open when Reces Mondaca came free, but Freddy Sarracino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, La Scaloneta's Fabio Omero ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Domingo Tolhauzsen. Domingo Tolhauzsen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. The C.D. Pepino’s fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. La Scaloneta were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
