Taquaritinga's Antônio Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafel Franquis in the 2nd minute of play. In the 3rd minute of the match ConChanfle FC got a corner. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eguntsenti Muniz ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Eguntsenti Muniz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Antônio Ferreira did a great save. After 6 minutes, Carlinhos Baiano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clube Atl. Taquaritinga and the ConChanfle FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Odol Machicao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Rafel Franquis notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Antônio Ferreira. Antônio Ferreira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Odol Machicao in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antônio Ferreira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Odol Machicao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 34th minute, Odol Machicao ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antônio Ferreira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 40th minute, Humberto Andrade fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Xosepe Moreda, passed just outside the right post. Otávio Peixoto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Odol Machicao to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luciano Sampaio during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tito Cajigal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antônio Ferreira having to make a save. In the 61st minute, Rafel Franquis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tito Cajigal scored 0-3 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antônio Ferreira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Odol Machicao took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antônio Ferreira. Antônio Ferreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Antônio Ferreira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 77th minute, Tito Cajigal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute Clube Atl. Taquaritinga were awarded a corner. Carlinhos Baiano went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of Clube Atl. Taquaritinga booed when ConChanfle FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eguntsenti Muniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Vitin Villacian was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ConChanfle FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clube Atl. Taquaritinga the free kick. A collision led to ConChanfle FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Vitin Villacian hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the match, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's goal looked a bit too open when Rafel Franquis came free, but Antônio Ferreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Clube Atl. Taquaritinga fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ConChanfle FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
