An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksander Hajduk in the 17th minute of play forced MO฿฿YN RANGERS's goalkeeper Marek Juroszek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, MO฿฿YN RANGERS's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Plucinik came free, but Marek Juroszek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaw Wlodyga got free with Tolek Makarewicz in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leszek Wojtowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolek Makarewicz having to interfere. Edmund Scislowicz's late challenge caught a Zielonka Gdansk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 41st minute, Gwidon Zima sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and MO฿฿YN RANGERS's Marek Juroszek didn't even have to move.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustaw Wlodyga was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Zielonka Gdansk's goalkeeper Tolek Makarewicz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led to MO฿฿YN RANGERS's Edward Figlewski getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaw Wlodyga in the 63rd minute of play forced Zielonka Gdansk's goalkeeper Tolek Makarewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Gustaw Wlodyga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tolek Makarewicz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. MO฿฿YN RANGERS's Marek Juroszek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwidon Zima in the 80th minute of play. After 82 played minutes MO฿฿YN RANGERS got a freekick which was hit by Mieszko Furtok. 95 minutes into the match, MO฿฿YN RANGERS's goalkeeper Marek Juroszek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Plucinik. Zielonka Gdansk's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because MO฿฿YN RANGERS had won, even though Zielonka Gdansk had held more of the ball.
