In the 17th minute, Edmund Komornicki reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wlodzimierz Fleszar. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 19th minute Mikolaj Zacharek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wlodzimierz Fleszar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Grasshoppers Klucze's goalkeeper Wlodzimierz Fleszar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Plucinik. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Wlodzimierz Fleszar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakub Ankiewicz in the 88th minute of play. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Zielonka Gdansk's goalkeeper Tolek Makarewicz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mariusz Brack kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Wlodzimierz Fleszar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmund Komornicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Zielonka Gdansk's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
