Necip Fazıl Vefiks short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Kristian Bern to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 14th minute, Stefan Blom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Forza Beşiktaş's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Sjödin came free, but Başar Keçeci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filiph Walroth kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Forza Beşiktaş's Necip Fazıl Vefik got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Forza Beşiktaş's Başar Keçeci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredrik Wallander in the 23rd minute of play. Necip Fazıl Vefik charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Necip Fazıl Vefik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Başar Keçeci made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After the first half Lokomotivet Kamraterna were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stefan Blom made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Aysan Dervişoğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Forza Beşiktaş's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lokomotivet Kamraterna the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Forza Beşiktaş fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! In the 53rd minute, Claes Hermansson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Başar Keçeci was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 69 minutes into the match, Forza Beşiktaş's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Blom came free, but Başar Keçeci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Başar Keçeci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Ek in the 70th minute of play. Başar Berin took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristian Bern. Kristian Bern dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 75 minutes into the match, Forza Beşiktaş's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Blom came free, but Başar Keçeci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Forza Beşiktaş's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Wallander came free, but Başar Keçeci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Forza Beşiktaş's Serdar Bayrak got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Claes Hermansson, 93 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Forza Beşiktaş's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Blom came free, but Başar Keçeci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 97 played minutes Forza Beşiktaş got a freekick which was hit by Necip Fazıl Vefik. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dick Tunström got free with Başar Keçeci in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lokomotivet Kamraterna's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
