Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alonzo Manny started the match with the kick off. Luis Victoro lost his temper 3 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 4th match minute, CF Scalonetos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Victoro to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victor Păuceanu during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 10 minutes into the match, Carpathians's goal looked a bit too open when Sixto Ugaitz came free, but Iosif Vulcan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 played minutes CF Scalonetos got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Ugaitz. Silviu Drăgoescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Vicente Beliran made a huge save. Vicente Beliran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silviu Drăgoescu in the 25th minute of play. Florencio Txeru charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florencio Txeru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vasile Socoriceanu succeeded in the game's 29th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Mario Senio hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Pavel Bara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carpathians's supporters rose to their feet, but Pavel Bara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Beliran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vasile Socoriceanu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Vicente Beliran when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Silviu Drăgoescu took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicente Beliran. Vicente Beliran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 48 minutes into the match, Vasile Socoriceanu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vicente Beliran, 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vasile Socoriceanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Vasile Socoriceanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vicente Beliran was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vasile Socoriceanu in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vicente Beliran saved CF Scalonetos from getting behind. 67 minutes in the game, Sixto Ugaitz fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Iosif Vulcan having to interfere. After 69th play minutes Vasile Socoriceanu shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Vicente Beliran and just under the crossbar into goal. Silviu Drăgoescu took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicente Beliran. Vicente Beliran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Carpathians made a substitution. Lucian Giurgiu replaced Ionică Culcer. Carpathians's Costel Junilă was substituted for Marin Marinică. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vasile Socoriceanu in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vicente Beliran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gavril Gurlui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Beliran having to interfere. If Vasile Socoriceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vicente Beliran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantin Cârstea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Justino Avellaneda kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. When Carpathians's Vasile Socoriceanu in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CF Scalonetos's goalie prevented a goal. Carpathians's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
