The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to SSC Ambrosini getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Ove Vassenius was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, SSC Ambrosini's goal looked a bit too open when Mircho Chakalov came free, but Ove Vassenius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Levent Popisakov in the 22nd minute of play forced SSC Ambrosini's goalkeeper Ove Vassenius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tihomir Zhabinski got free with Ove Vassenius in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Tihomir Zhabinski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ove Vassenius. That made the score 2-0 in the 25 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Levent Popisakov took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Ove Vassenius to make any attempt to save it. When Каблешково's Tihomir Zhabinski, in the 35th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Каблешково. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcus Ambrosini was the one to do the kick off. Vencho Gazibarov came out of the goal and Marcus Ambrosini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Levent Popisakov in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ove Vassenius saved SSC Ambrosini from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Bäckström during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Каблешково booed when SSC Ambrosini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Bäckström didn't get a good kick on the ball.
