The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ortzi Aleja was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of MAZER SAF booed when Programayin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oihan Onis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ortzi Aleja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Renato Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. MAZER SAF's Paulo Renato Gonçalves got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Programayin's Bemabe Alzola got a free kick in the 47th minute. In the 48th match minute, MAZER SAF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Breno Bidon to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 58th minute of the match Mathias Favoretto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ortzi Aleja skillfully saved the ball. Héctor Hernández could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Ortzi Aleja made a huge save. Paulo Renato Gonçalves's late challenge caught a Programayin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Renato Gonçalves helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th match minute, MAZER SAF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Renato Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. When Inacio Bettencourt fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 93rd minute, Oihan Onis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enéas Ceresso kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. MAZER SAF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
