Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After 3 played minutes FC UNIREA Alba Iulia got a freekick which was hit by Costică Ungureanu. In the 4th match minute, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Drăgan to maneuver through the defense. FC Buzău's David Cismarescu got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia were furious when Cătălin Amuguroancei was red carded, 6 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when David Cismarescu scored to the left of an out of position Aurel Tilea, making the score, 1-0. Sorin Zâncă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Aurel Tilea made a huge save. In the 15th minute, Eric Drăgan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC UNIREA Alba Iulia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 18th minute, Costel Dorineanu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aurel Tilea. The goal made the score 2-1. Gheorghe Vărzaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cazimir Iorgovan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alin Feroiu's late challenge caught a FC Buzău's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alin Feroiu helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes FC UNIREA Alba Iulia got a freekick which was hit by Alin Feroiu. In the 30th minute Teodor Pârcălab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurel Tilea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Costel Dorineanu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aurel Tilea. Costel Dorineanu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. After a rather tough play, FC Buzău's Leonard Dabija got a free kick in the 40th minute. 44 minutes into the match, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goal looked a bit too open when Costel Dorineanu came free, but Aurel Tilea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cazimir Iorgovan to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goal looked a bit too open when Costel Dorineanu came free, but Aurel Tilea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gheorghe Vărzaru made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Alin Feroiu sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to FC UNIREA Alba Iulia getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Gigi Câmpeanu hit a great ball. Aurel Tilea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodor Pârcălab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goal looked a bit too open when Narcis Săndulescu came free, but Aurel Tilea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th match minute, FC Buzău was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Cismarescu to maneuver through the defense. Aurel Tilea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sorin Zâncă in the 72nd minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, FC Buzău's Costel Dorineanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurel Tilea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 81stth minute of the game Costel Dorineanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Aurel Tilea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aurel Tilea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sorin Zâncă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurel Tilea came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Buzău's Costel Dorineanu. But to his dismay, Costel Dorineanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. After 90 played minutes FC Buzău got a freekick which was hit by David Cismarescu. In the 92nd minute Costel Dorineanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurel Tilea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Buzău walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
