Nilton Sena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aprígio Espinosa went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Máximo Pimentel kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After 11 minutes, Geraldo Bueno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chester Bennington and the CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th minute, Geraldo Bueno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bento Melo's shot from long distance in the 12th minute was not bad at all, but Chester Bennington's Nilton Sena knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Máximo Pimentel got free with Nilton Sena in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nilton Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aprígio Espinosa in the 19th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Abel Paixão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilton Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Chester Bennington's goal looked a bit too open when Aprígio Espinosa came free, but Nilton Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Nilton Sena successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aprígio Espinosa in the 35th minute of play forced Chester Bennington's goalkeeper Nilton Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrão Vides came free, but Fabrício Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nilton Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Paixão in the 40th minute of play. In the 45th match minute, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Noronha to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abel Paixão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zé Carlos Paraibano's late challenge caught a CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Carlos Paraibano helped the player get up and apologised. Zé Carlos Paraibano kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Chester Bennington's Nilton Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bento Melo in the 52nd minute of play. Nilton Sena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abel Paixão's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. After a rather tough play, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Humberto Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 57th minute. Fabrício Marques made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valdemar Barral in the 58th minute. The supporters of CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land booed when Chester Bennington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geraldo Bueno didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Máximo Pimentel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Aprígio Espinosa hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's zone, Reinaldo Bueno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabrício Marques came out of the goal and Reinaldo Bueno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nilton Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Máximo Pimentel in the 69th minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Abel Paixão cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Nilton Sena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Chester Bennington's Nilton Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Vasconcelos in the 79th minute of play. Fabrício Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Amaral in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aprígio Espinosa in the 87th minute of play forced Chester Bennington's goalkeeper Nilton Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute Máximo Pimentel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilton Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land had played much better football throughout.
