The supporters of CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE booed when ASF BAIA MARE -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Robu didn't get a good kick on the ball. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Júlio Brasil got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Faustão Alagoano got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Faustão Alagoano came free, but Nae Morar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Mădălin Bănățeanu got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 23 played minutes CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE got a freekick which was hit by Reinaldo Azevedo. Nae Morar made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Júlio Brasil sent off a good shot on target. If Basarab Spoială had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Nae Morar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save ASF BAIA MARE -MM- from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 50th minute, Mădălin Bănățeanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustão Alagoano in the 60th minute of play forced ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goalkeeper Nae Morar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s zone, Júlio Brasil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nae Morar came out of the goal and Júlio Brasil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Severino Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basarab Spoială in the 68th minute of the match. Marcel Robu kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Júlio Brasil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE fully deserved thier win.
