Chester Bennington's Nilton Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Brasil in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Marcelinho Ramalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute, Nestor Vinhas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Severino Madureira was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Severino Madureira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrão Vides in the 32nd minute of play. Nilton Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustão Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Faustão Alagoano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Nilton Sena skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 44 minutes, Décio Vides mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE and the Chester Bennington players grew even worse after the yellow card. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Júlio Brasil made a kick off. Faustão Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute Faustão Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilton Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Chester Bennington defense, Faustão Alagoano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nilton Sena. The Chester Bennington fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nilton Sena should have stopped the shot. Nilton Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Márcio Trancoso in the 76th minute of play. Nilton Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Brasil in the 82nd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the game, one of Chester Bennington:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Márcio Trancoso scored 5-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nilton Sena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Chester Bennington's Nestor Vinhas got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Júlio Brasil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nilton Sena having to make a save.
