The referee ignored Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's protests and gave Gottfrid Lindström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute Aleš Koutný shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Scott Stopar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Eklund during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Froghino's Václav Zlámal got a free kick in the 15th minute. When Karl-Michael Larsson fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's protests and gave Karl-Michael Larsson a yellow card for diving instead. Karl-Michael Larsson kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Scott Stopar made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Marek Zaoral sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Karl-Michael Larsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Michael Larsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pavel Krob breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the match, Nils Vennersten notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Froghino's Pavel Krob. Pavel Krob was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK booed when Froghino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleš Koutný didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pavel Krob stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nils Vennersten's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 39 minutes into the match, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Nils Vennersten broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Gottfrid Lindström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavel Krob having to interfere. Marek Zaoral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Scott Stopar made a huge save. Marek Zaoral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Scott Stopar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Nils Vennersten made the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Niklas Skager hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aleš Koutný recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karl-Michael Larsson came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pavel Krob could save by the left post. 62 minutes into the match, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's goal looked a bit too open when Aleš Koutný came free, but Scott Stopar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Anthon Soned had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Zaoral in the 68th minute of play forced Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's goalkeeper Scott Stopar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd match minute, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Oskar Mogren to maneuver through the defense. After 73 played minutes, Froghino's Antonín Kořán shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Scott Stopar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Froghino reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Zaoral in the 74th minute of play forced Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's goalkeeper Scott Stopar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th match minute, Froghino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dobroslav Krutský to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute, Nils Vennersten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 82nd minute, Jonáš Švarc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, Marek Zaoral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Scott Stopar. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marek Zaoral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Pavel Krob made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Michael Larsson in the 90th minute of play. After 91 played minutes Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK got a freekick which was hit by Niklas Skager. The Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
