Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Abel Egoitz made the kick off which started today's match. 15 minutes into the match, Matanza and Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Egoitz came free, but Matías Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Arrecifes getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Anastasio Guzman hit a great ball. Genílson Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Baldomero Vermudo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Froilan Cutberto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Matías Quirino came out and tried to block the shot, but Froilan Cutberto slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 23rd minute. Arrecifes's Baldomero Vermudo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Carneiro in the 27th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Charles Guerra during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Charles Guerra hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Matías Quirino made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Froilan Cutberto sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd match minute, Arrecifes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Toro to maneuver through the defense. Adelino Leme's late challenge caught a Arrecifes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adelino Leme helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Matanza and Steelers getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Adelino Leme hit a great ball. In the 36th minute, Froilan Cutberto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Toro in the 38th minute of play forced Matanza and Steelers's goalkeeper Matías Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Raul Toro fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arrecifes's protests and gave Raul Toro a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Matanza and Steelers booed when Arrecifes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Toro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronaldinho Carneiro made a kick off. Adelino Leme made in the 54th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Genílson Lucas however managed to control. After 56 minutes of play, Arrecifes's Froilan Cutberto made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matías Quirino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Raul Toro kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. When Arrecifes's Froilan Cutberto in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Matanza and Steelers's goalie prevented a goal. The Arrecifes fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Arrecifes's Froilan Cutberto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Arrecifes made a substitution. Danilo Quiroga replaced Abel Egoitz. Dalmacio Honrio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Matías Quirino. Matanza and Steelers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Froilan Cutberto sped through Matanza and Steelers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Matías Quirino. In the 83rd minute, Froilan Cutberto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arrecifes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Danilo Quiroga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arrecifes's supporters rose to their feet, but Danilo Quiroga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matías Quirino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucio Hever hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Froilan Cutberto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matías Quirino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. There was no doubt that Arrecifes were the better team. Arrecifes's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
