Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Paulo Renato Penha started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Alfredinho Pereira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Egoitz in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Lucio Hever got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 11 played minutes Arrecifes got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Edwardo. 13 minutes into the game, Abel Egoitz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alfredinho Pereira. Abel Egoitz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Abel Egoitz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alfredinho Pereira. That made the score 2-0 in the 16 minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião Paraense came free, but Baldomero Vermudo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renan França made in the 22nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Waldemar Xavier however managed to control. Baldomero Vermudo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Carlos Carneiro in the 26th minute of play. Baldomero Vermudo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastião Paraense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th match minute, Arrecifes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmacio Honrio to maneuver through the defense. Abel Egoitz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 36th minute. Arrecifes's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 37th match minute, Arrecifes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Matro to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th match minute, Arrecifes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Abad to maneuver through the defense. Baldomero Vermudo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Carlos Carneiro in the 39th minute of play. In the 47th match minute, Arrecifes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Matro to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abel Egoitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Froilan Cutberto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chelsicha's Alfredinho Pereira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Arrecifes's Baldomero Vermudo got control of the ball when Sebastião Paraense tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arrecifes's Anastasio Guzman managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Renan França in the 59 minute of the game. A collision led to Arrecifes getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Silvano Edwardo hit a great ball. José Carlos Carneiro struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Baldomero Vermudo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chelsicha. Arrecifes made a substitution. Lisandro Geofredo replaced Raul Toro. Alfredinho Pereira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Egoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute, Gerson Monteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Chelsicha defense, Abel Egoitz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredinho Pereira. The Chelsicha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredinho Pereira should have stopped the shot. Froilan Cutberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredinho Pereira having to interfere. Alfredinho Pereira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Cutberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Cutberto in the 93rd minute of play forced Chelsicha's goalkeeper Alfredinho Pereira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Arrecifes were the better team. Arrecifes's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
