After having played for 3 minutes, Abel Egoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arrecifes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Egoitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Arrecifes getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Raul Toro hit a great ball. Arrecifes's Baldomero Vermudo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Vefik Çeliksu in the 10th minute of play. Lucio Hever kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute of the match Altuğ Uygar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baldomero Vermudo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Baldomero Vermudo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ergün Terzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. When Silvano Edwardo fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Froilan Cutberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ergün Terzi in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomero Vermudo saved Arrecifes from getting behind. A collision led to Arrecifes getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Anastasio Guzman hit a great ball. Froilan Cutberto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Arda Göksel Erem made a huge save. 30 minutes into the game, F.C QURESMA 27's Ahmet Vefik Çeliksu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baldomero Vermudo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yaşar Nuri Haşmetli in the 34th minute of play forced Arrecifes's goalkeeper Baldomero Vermudo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arrecifes's Anastasio Guzman quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ahmet Nedim Öztay, made in the 36th minute of the game. Arda Göksel Erem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Cutberto in the 37th minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abel Egoitz to make the kick off.
