The tension between the North Hill United and the Arrecifes players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nic Van Turnhout during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 16 played minutes North Hill United got a freekick which was hit by Nic Van Turnhout. Froilan Cutberto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Octave Cempenaers having to make a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After 65 played minutes North Hill United got a freekick which was hit by Jeff Nelleboedske. Octave Cempenaers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Froilan Cutberto in the 66th minute. After having played for 71 minutes, Froilan Cutberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arrecifes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Froilan Cutberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arrecifes's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
