If Tiaguinho Gaúcho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Vidal was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Kazimierz Lichucki capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kazimierz Lichucki really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. When Felipe Balada came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Balada couldn't finish the play. 34 minutes into the match, Galaxy Team U18's goal looked a bit too open when Giovani Travassos came free, but Lucjan Gierlach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernesto Vidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Malewicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Luiz de Queiroz in the 43rd minute of play forced Galaxy Team U18's goalkeeper Lucjan Gierlach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Galaxy Team U18's Robert Przybyciel seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Robert Przybyciel the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Galaxy Team U18 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Robert Przybyciel had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Galaxy Team U18 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damian Malewicki was the one to do the kick off. Ernesto Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kazimierz Lichucki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 55 minutes of play, SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's Felipe Balada made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucjan Gierlach was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lucjan Gierlach was a little too slow when Felipe Balada got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 1-2. Ernesto Vidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazimierz Lichucki, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Kazimierz Lichucki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ernesto Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan Szostak's late challenge caught a SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan Szostak helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th minute, Jan Szostak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucjan Gierlach was a little too slow when Marco Marinho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 1-3. In the 82nd minute Marco Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucjan Gierlach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armandinho Vander to maneuver through the defense. Damian Malewicki hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After 85 played minutes Galaxy Team U18 got a freekick which was hit by Damian Malewicki. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
