In the 38th minute, Leonardo Åkesson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Here Comes the Hammer fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After 53 minutes, Timmy Bogren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Here Comes the Hammer and the Sannegården BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Timmy Bogren kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute of the match Bengt-Rune Stabbe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sverker Mellbad showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 59 minutes into the game, when Allan Ahlgren put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of Here Comes the Hammer:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sannegården BK:s goal. Fritz Vedholm's late challenge caught a Sannegården BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fritz Vedholm helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Here Comes the Hammer getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Fritz Vedholm hit a great ball. Bengt-Rune Stabbe struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Sverker Mellbad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sannegården BK. When Patric Lundström fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sannegården BK's protests and gave Patric Lundström a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Here Comes the Hammer booed when Sannegården BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patric Lundström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute of the match Fritz Vedholm shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fritz Bållström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 72 played minutes Sannegården BK got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Rune Stabbe. Fritz Vedholm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fritz Bållström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Leonardo Åkesson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Fritz Bållström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tom Wester in the 80th minute of play forced Sannegården BK's goalkeeper Fritz Bållström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tom Wester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fritz Bållström having to interfere. The supporters of Here Comes the Hammer booed when Sannegården BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Hjortsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Birger Stabbe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fritz Bållström having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Here Comes the Hammer had won after a very even match.
