An unexpectedly hard shot by Mendebal Larrechi in the 20th minute of play forced CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11's goalkeeper Tomás Arixo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mendebal Larrechi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tomás Arixo came out and tried to block the shot, but Mendebal Larrechi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 24th minute. Chus Hidalgo hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Gaufred Sagarteguieta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Peruanton in the 36th minute of the match. If Mauricio Panero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute Mendebal Larrechi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Arixo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zuriko Ballin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Tomás Arixo made a huge save. 45 minutes into the match, CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11's Paulo Peruanton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaufred Sagarteguieta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mauricio Panero made a kick off. Nacional's Mauricio Panero got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 54th match minute, Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualterio Doles to maneuver through the defense. Andres Kismi kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. When Mauricio Tartalo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 56 minutes had been played. The supporters of Nacional booed when CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Tartalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 58 minutes, Gualterio Doles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nacional's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualterio Doles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulo Peruanton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaufred Sagarteguieta having to interfere. Paulo Peruanton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Gaufred Sagarteguieta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gualterio Doles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Arixo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zuriko Ballin, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Tomás Arixo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Doles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11's zone, Mendebal Larrechi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Arixo came out of the goal and Mendebal Larrechi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gualterio Doles might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomás Arixo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gualterio Doles ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mendebal Larrechi in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Arixo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11's Natalio Victoro got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute of the match Gualterio Doles shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomás Arixo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Severino Jesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
