The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Procopio came free, but Carlos Schneider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th minute, Victorio Gilesindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Schneider took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timoteo Berbiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uriel Raymon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederic Kuster, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Uriel Raymon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederic Kuster in the 26th minute of the match. Uriel Raymon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Krause in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Benicio Diagur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute, FC Wil 1900's Frederic Kuster ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Uriel Raymon. Uriel Raymon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Velez Sarsfield's Uriel Raymon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Velez Sarsfield from getting a goal against them. FC Wil 1900's Carlos Schneider played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Procopio in the 36th minute of play. Uriel Raymon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederic Kuster in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Berbiz came free, but Carlos Schneider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Schneider showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benicio Diagur in the 45th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eusebio Procopio to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Wil 1900 had won after a very even match.
