Ronaldo Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferit Port in the 6th minute of the match. The Florestal Futebol Clube fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Florestal Futebol Clube's Gildo Mandrak looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Folker Witzke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Ronaldo Sabóia made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Vorwärts Lübeck's Emmo Wilhelm got a free kick in the 19th minute. With an all-out effort, Vorwärts Lübeck's Ronaldo Sabóia threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from David Woltering, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 31 minutes, Alexander Schaf made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Florestal Futebol Clube's Ronaldo Sabóia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th match minute, Florestal Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Paulo Brasil to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st match minute, Vorwärts Lübeck was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Schaf to maneuver through the defense. David Woltering hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After the first half Florestal Futebol Clube were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Woltering stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match, Gildo Mandrak tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jochen Doll saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 56 played minutes Vorwärts Lübeck got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Schaf. When Vorwärts Lübeck's David Woltering in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Florestal Futebol Clube's goalie prevented a goal. In the 61st minute, Folker Witzke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronaldo Sabóia was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 65thth minute of the game Gildo Mandrak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vorwärts Lübeck's Jochen Doll was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jochen Doll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gildo Mandrak in the 67th minute of play. Gildo Mandrak who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Jochen Doll when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 74th minute, Gildo Mandrak fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Gildo Mandrak kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jochen Doll. That made the score 2-3 in the 74 minute of play. Ferit Port sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ronaldo Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Woltering in the 83rd minute of play. Marc Pöttgen hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The supporters of Florestal Futebol Clube booed when Vorwärts Lübeck was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Folker Witzke didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Vorwärts Lübeck's zone, Gildo Mandrak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jochen Doll came out of the goal and Gildo Mandrak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Florestal Futebol Clube had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
