If Ali Ramachandran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute Ali Ramachandran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Wei Xuan Chandran got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ronaldo Sabóia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Afiz Butcher could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Ronaldo Sabóia made a huge save. Florestal Futebol Clube's Ronaldo Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afriz Hian in the 38th minute of play. Ali Ramachandran came free with the goalkeeper in the 44th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ronaldo Sabóia could save by the left post. In the 45th minute Ali Ramachandran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Albirex Niigata FC booed when Florestal Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvério Velloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
