The Deportivo Balvanera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 8 minutes into the game, Omar Fliz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Daniel Chuan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramiro Quin got free with Daniel Chuan in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th minute, Deportivo Balvanera's Omar Fliz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Ramachandran in the 17th minute of play forced Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper Teodosio Urtats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rene Restu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Daniel Chuan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Daniel Chuan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rene Restu's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Daniel Chuan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Restu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rene Restu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Daniel Chuan came out and tried to block the shot, but Rene Restu slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 29th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Rene Restu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Balvanera's supporters rose to their feet, but Rene Restu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Chuan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 33 minutes into the match, Omar Fliz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Chuan. Albirex Niigata FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Omar Fliz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Ernesto Argoitz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 7-0 in the 36th playminute. After 42 minutes of play, Deportivo Balvanera's Omar Fliz made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Chuan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Santiago Sosa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 47th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 8-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Fliz in the 53rd minute of play forced Albirex Niigata FC's goalkeeper Daniel Chuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Chuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Paz in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Rene Restu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Chuan was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. Rene Restu took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Chuan. Daniel Chuan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Deportivo Balvanera's Bonifacio Estavan was substituted for Ernesto Argoitz. After 67 played minutes Deportivo Balvanera got a freekick which was hit by Amado Handi. The Deportivo Balvanera fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Deportivo Balvanera's Omar Fliz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 12-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 73 minutes into the match, Santiago Sosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Chuan. Albirex Niigata FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santiago Sosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 13-0. In the 77th minute, Wei Xuan Chandran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Rene Restu came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Deportivo Balvanera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rene Restu couldn't finish the play. Daniel Chuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Fliz, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Daniel Chuan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Balvanera. Daniel Chuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Sosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When Deportivo Balvanera's Santiago Sosa in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Deportivo Balvanera's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
