Vorwärts Lübeck's Jochen Doll tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute Gildo Mandrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jochen Doll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cássio Varela charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cássio Varela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cássio Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Thaddäus Hänsch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ronaldo Sabóia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gildo Mandrak in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jochen Doll saved Vorwärts Lübeck from getting behind. Ronaldo Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Folker Witzke, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Florestal Futebol Clube:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vorwärts Lübeck:s goal. Ronaldo Sabóia had in the 42ndth minute some difficulties stopping Waldemar Scheuch's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 45 played minutes Florestal Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Gildo Mandrak. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when David Woltering made the kick off in the second half. Rafinha Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the game, Válbson Souto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jochen Doll was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Chiquinho Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Folker Witzke got free with Ronaldo Sabóia in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Rafinha Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute Rafinha Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jochen Doll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Florestal Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when David Woltering came free, but Ronaldo Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 79 played minutes Florestal Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Egídio Ferreira. In the 81st minute, Rafinha Leão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Florestal Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Ronaldo Sabóia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferit Port. If Válbson Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th match minute, Florestal Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafinha Leão to maneuver through the defense. David Woltering received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ronaldo Sabóia came out and tried to block the shot, but David Woltering slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 92nd minute. Florestal Futebol Clube were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Vorwärts Lübeck for a fine match.
