Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Deportivo Balvanera's Rene Restu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Daniel Chuan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Paul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Omar Fliz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Daniel Chuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Chuan came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Balvanera's Ramiro Quin. But to his dismay, Ramiro Quin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 19th minute Santiago Sosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Chuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Deportivo Balvanera's Rene Restu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniel Chuan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Sosa in the 25th minute of play forced Albirex Niigata FC's goalkeeper Daniel Chuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Chuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Fliz in the 28th minute of play. Ali Ramachandran took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernan Ignado. Fernan Ignado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The audience was convinced that Afriz Hian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernan Ignado was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. In the 37th minute Ramiro Quin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Chuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 played minutes Albirex Niigata FC got a freekick which was hit by Bakar Hsi. Daniel Chuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Fliz, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Rene Restu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Daniel Chuan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Albirex Niigata FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Afriz Hian hit a great ball. Daniel Chuan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Fliz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 played minutes Albirex Niigata FC got a freekick which was hit by Dale Lim. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ali Ramachandran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Sosa in the 50th minute of play forced Albirex Niigata FC's goalkeeper Daniel Chuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amado Handi during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 52 played minutes Deportivo Balvanera got a freekick which was hit by Amado Handi. Deportivo Balvanera made a substitution. Bonifacio Estavan replaced Guaberto Valery. Deportivo Balvanera's Igor Olo was substituted for Bernardo Paul. Amado Handi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Daniel Chuan made a huge save. Santiago Sosa took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Chuan. Daniel Chuan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. In the 69th minute, Omar Fliz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Balvanera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. After 74 minutes of play, Deportivo Balvanera's Rene Restu made it 1-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Chuan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 81 minutes into the match, Omar Fliz notched a goal, 1-10, to the right of Albirex Niigata FC's Daniel Chuan. Daniel Chuan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice moves Bonifacio Estavan could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Daniel Chuan however easily saved by the left post. 86 minutes into the match, Bonifacio Estavan notched a goal, 1-11, to the right of Albirex Niigata FC's Daniel Chuan. Daniel Chuan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 89 minutes into the match, Albirex Niigata FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Sosa came free, but Daniel Chuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Afriz Hian fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Albirex Niigata FC's protests and gave Afriz Hian a yellow card for diving instead. Afriz Hian hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Igor Olo kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 91stth minute. Though ot was a great shot Albirex Niigata FC's keeper Daniel Chuan was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. When the final whistle sounded Deportivo Balvanera left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Albirex Niigata FC.
