An unexpectedly hard shot by Giorgos Maragozis in the 25th minute of play forced IFK Hedemora's goalkeeper Elliot Berglund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marinos Katsiaros in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elliot Berglund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 29 minutes into the game, Vassilis Katsourinis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kerkyra FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IFK Hedemora the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in IFK Hedemora's zone, Marinos Katsiaros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elliot Berglund came out of the goal and Marinos Katsiaros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elliot Berglund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giorgos Maragozis, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of IFK Hedemora:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kerkyra FC:s goal. An unexpected shot in the 79th minute by Valentinos Kanellakis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Marinos Katsiaros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 93 played minutes IFK Hedemora got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Ove Josefsson. Marinos Katsiaros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elliot Berglund having to interfere. Marinos Katsiaros struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Elliot Berglund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kerkyra FC. When the final whistle sounded Kerkyra FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than IFK Hedemora.
