Matthew Edwards came out of the goal and Gilberto Cavalcante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético de Newell's Spike Lambley got a free kick in the 71st minute. The supporters of IsioSamuel Jrs F.C. booed when Club Atlético de Newell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joey Leighton didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute of the match Ademir Pimenta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matthew Edwards skillfully saved the ball.
