Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Talleres de Escalada's zone, Philip Bakewell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niceto Gutxi came out of the goal and Philip Bakewell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Club Atlético de Newell's Matthew Edwards played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Jusepe in the 9th minute of play. When Philip Bakewell fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético de Newell's protests and gave Philip Bakewell a yellow card for diving instead. Philip Bakewell kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Raimundo Innocenzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthew Edwards saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raimundo Innocenzio scored 1-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matthew Edwards, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Raimundo Innocenzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Matthew Edwards tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ashley Wells in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niceto Gutxi saved Talleres de Escalada from getting behind. Seb Newman scored 1-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Niceto Gutxi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Matthew Edwards made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Iratxo in the 39th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Seb Newman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niceto Gutxi. Talleres de Escalada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Seb Newman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.

After a rather tough play, Club Atlético de Newell's Jay Holmes got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Talleres de Escalada's Niceto Gutxi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ashley Wells in the 56th minute of play. Jay Holmes's late challenge caught a Talleres de Escalada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jay Holmes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th minute, Jay Holmes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Atlético de Newell's Matthew Edwards played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Iratxo in the 59th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Seb Newman got free with Niceto Gutxi in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute, Raimundo Innocenzio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute Andres Jusepe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthew Edwards saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Talleres de Escalada's Andres Jusepe got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andres Jusepe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matthew Edwards having to make a save. Matthew Edwards took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Iratxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niceto Gutxi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jay Holmes went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score.
