Los Gallos's Filiberto Iratzeder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nino Maravilha in the 20th minute of play. Yeray Sierralta kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nino Maravilha got free with Filiberto Iratzeder in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes into the match, Zorros del Desierto's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Osoitz came free, but Leonel Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uriel Rik kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 60 played minutes Los Gallos got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Ireno. Ramon Corderun kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Filiberto Iratzeder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerry Maguire in the 63rd minute of the match. The supporters of Zorros del Desierto booed when Los Gallos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Ireno didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute Jerry Maguire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Iratzeder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salvador Aballe was extremely unlucky when he, in the 75th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 78 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Los Gallos's Primitivo Chago fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high.
